Summary of Benefits  (effective February 23, 2009)

Medical Coverage: With CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield — KSJ pays 90% of employee only premiums and 80% of dependent premiums; employees pay their part in pretax dollars.

Dental Coverage: Dental Insurance with MetLife — KSJ pays a portion of premiums; employees pay their part in pretax dollars. Can use any dentist, but the plan pays more when a participating provider is used.

Short Term Disability Insurance:
Insurance with MetLife — KSJ pays 100% of premiums; effective on 31st day of employment.

Long Term Disability Insurance:
Coverage with MetLife – KSJ pays 100% of premiums; effective on 31st day of employment.

Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance: $50,000 per employee – coverage with MetLife ¬– KSJ pays 100% of premiums; effective on 31st day of employment.

Personal Time Off :
Fifteen or twenty days per year initially, according to position.

10 Holidays: Nine designated Federal holidays, plus, in the month of November, your choice of Veteran’s Day OR the day after Thanksgiving

401k Plan: KSJ matches 50% of the first 8% of employee contributions

  • Eligible on the first of the month following 90 days of employment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Vested at 33 1/3% per year
  • Minimum 4% profit sharing contribution at end of year

Health Club:  KSJ pays $25 per month towards a membership at Skyline Health & Fitness Club for employees in the Skyline Complex.

Free Parking: for employees in the Skyline Complex.

Tuition Reimbursement: A Tuition Reimbursement Plan is available to all full-time employees who have been with KSJ for a minimum of six months.

Medical and/or Dependent Care FSA: Available on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Referral Bonus: $1,000 for referring a candidate who is hired and remains with KSJ a minimum of 90 days.
